A large, nationally distributed magazine wished to inform its advertising base and potential advertisers of its ranking as one of the “Hottest Magazines.” The project presented a unique challenge with a budget of less than $10/unit and delivery due to multiple regional offices within three weeks.
Playing off of the “Hottest” theme, Passport International, Ltd. suggested custom labeled hot sauce packaged in a distinctive firecracker tube. The tube also featured a custom label announcing the client’s significant achievement. The finished product arrived in a white corrugated box stamped, “Special Delivery.” Each package was hand delivered by the client’s sales force. This solution met all of the client’s objectives at a cost that was 25% under budget.
